Озеро Лалла-Такеркуст

Lalla Takerkoust is a reservoir built in the 1930s, held by a dam below the Kik plateau. Fifty minutes from Gueliz, the water sits deep blue against dry hills, and the far shore is Atlas.

The day is deliberately unstructured. A terrace lunch by the water, lake fish or a tagine, then a swim, a pedalo, or nothing at all under a parasol until the light softens. Riders can take the trail along the shore. If you want a view rather than a chair, the road up to the Kik plateau is twenty minutes and looks down over the whole basin.

This is the lowest-effort day in the catalog and the easiest with small children. It suits recovery days, and afternoons when Marrakech is too hot to walk.
