阿特拉斯环线

Three days that stay in the mountains rather than commuting to them. You leave Marrakech after breakfast and reach Asni in time for the Saturday souk, where the valley trades livestock, mint and wool as it has for centuries. Lunch and the first night are at Kasbah Tamadot, above the village.

Day two walks the Toubkal foothills from Imlil with a mountain guide, through walnut groves and the villages that supply the climbing season. In the afternoon you cross east to the Ourika valley and settle at Kasbah Bab Ourika, on a spur with the whole valley below.

The last morning follows the Ourika river up toward the Berber tables at Setti Fatma, then stops at Anima Garden on the way back to Marrakech. Private vehicle and driver throughout. The Saturday start matters, because the souk does not move.
