Dar El Bacha et le Bacha Coffee

Le palais du pacha, son musée des confluences, et le salon de café dans la cour.

Dar El Bacha et le Bacha Coffee

Dar El Bacha was Thami El Glaoui's town house, and everyone from Churchill to Josephine Baker passed through it. Restored in 2017 as the Musée des Confluences, it holds rotating exhibitions on the religions and trades that met in Marrakech, though the building is the real exhibit: zellige to shoulder height, a courtyard with four orange trees, plasterwork cut by hand.

Through the far door is Bacha Coffee, where more than two hundred single origins are served from gold pots by staff in white. We reserve the table before you arrive.

Two hours, seated for half of it. The museum closes on Tuesdays. Coffee is served through the day outside Ramadan.
